The University of Texas Permian and Midland College have entered into a partnership to address the growing need for teachers in our region. The MC to UTPB Education Pathway allows students to earn their associate degree at MC and then seamlessly transfer to UTPB to earn their Bachelor’s of Arts in Education. Students will be admitted early in their last semester of their associates’ program so they can transfer. This allows students to transition into their bachelor’s program quickly and effortlessly.
The Midland College Athletic Department held a ceremony on May 7 for 19 student-athletes across six sports who announced their commitment to continue their athletic careers with NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA four-year universities.
Midland College students, faculty, and staff gathered Sunday, May 5 at the Al G. Langford Chap Center for the first annual Honors Convocation, an evening for recognizing and honoring academic achievement, leadership and excellence among Midland College students.
